The church in Uffington is particularly magnificent and often referred to as 'The Cathedral of the Vale'.

Directions

From Wantage take the B4507 towards Childrey and Ashbury. After 2.5 miles proceed straight on at the Childrey Holloway crossroads. In about 2.3 miles turn right at the Blowing Stone crossroads and proceed to Uffington. At the village hall turn left onto High Street and Long Thatch will be found on your right hand side.
