Welcome to Willow Cottage!
A lovingly and stylishly restored, uniquely stunning part-thatched cottage that affords modern comforts throughout, within an historic building and setting, adding to the wonderful sense of charm and tranquillity that the property exudes throughout.
The property is offered for sale with NO ONWARD CHAIN and has been completely renovated throughout by the existing owners, bringing this charming historic cottage into the modern world, being meticulously cared for and presented by its current owner. It is ready to move into and enjoy!
Willow Cottage offers a spacious living room with engineered Oak flooring, complete with gas fireplace and a re-fitted, brand new kitchen/breakfast room on the ground floor, leading out to a meticulously landscaped garden.
On the first floor are two good bedrooms (one with built in wardrobes) and a bathroom with bath and separate shower, as well as a large storage cupboard off the landing. Above the first floor is an extensive loft space, which, if desired, could be converted to accommodation, creating a third bedroom, subject to planning.
Clifton Hampden is an attractive, friendly village in South Oxfordshire, ideally located for access to both Abingdon and Oxford, with a shop, café, Post Office, good local primary school, doctors' surgery and pub just a stroll across the bridge. Culham Station is just a short distance away by car or on foot that provides direct access to London Paddington and Oxford. The property is also well-placed for The Europa School in Culham, together with Abingdon, which offers some of the UK's highest performing independent schools.
