Charlbury

Back

One of the most desirable small Cotswold towns North West of Oxford. WHY?: Surrounded by the iconic rolling landscape of The Cotswolds, Charlbury is doubly attractive as a location in which to live, given its mainline rail connection to London. Being able to roam for miles in the rural landscape around Charlbury is a joy, whether through the beautiful Cornbury or Ditchley Estates, or the bewitching Wychwood Forest, this is most certainly a special place in which to live. The centre of Charlbury has a “boutique” atmosphere with a range of small shops, from a cake makers to rifle makers complimented by everyday essential shopping at a good scale Co-op store and yes there is a great coffee shop / Deli in the village too. There are a number of pubs / eateries, with the The Bull being a great favourite facing down Park Street. Historic Oxford is only c. 18 miles south of the town with Woodstock and its World Heritage Site Blenheim Palace en-route, the attractive Cotswold market town of Chipping Norton lies c. 4.2 miles north and bustling Witney with its first class shopping centre and free parking is found 4.8 miles west.
